    Description

    Willemite fluorescent mineral, Franklin NJ gneissic ore.  Large hand-sized specimen of gneissic bands of willemite in gray tephroite, with calcite and franklinite.  Fluorescent green and red in shortwave UV light, which really shows the fine banding.


    Big cabinet specimen, measures 5 1/2 inches x 4 x 2 inches, and weighs 3 pounds 4 ounces.
