Vintage Pink Depression Glass Elephant Ashtray By L.E. Smith Glass Company

Description

The ashtray was made in the early 1930s by L E Smith Glass Company and is made of bright rose pink depression glass. It features a pink depression glass base with a well for the ashes and features a pressed glass Elephant in the center complete with a curved trunk on the pedestal. The ashtray is able to hold four large cigars or cigarettes but can also be used to hold other things such as jewelry or earrings. It is in great shape for its age with 1 small ding on the edge of one of the curved cigarette holders. It has a few scratches which are mostly around the bottom rim from being on many tables over the years.
