LE Smith Rolled Rim Black Amethyst Oval Bowl 12" L x 9 1/4" W, 1 1/2" T.  Has the Maltese Cross Trademark on the bottom.  Produced ca 1926-1937.  Heavy leaded crystal.  This bowl has many surface flaws (hard to describe and difficult to photograph), three rim chips and wear scratches.  We are offering it because of its age and the Smith Maltese Cross trademark which we have seldom seen. Due to scratches and flaws - condition - Fair (see 4 below) - no cracks, or cloudiness.
1.) Mint- Like New or New; 2.) Excellent- Used but near new with very minor wear, if any (small scratches or abrasions which are not very noticeable) 3.) Very Good- Used shows wear (scratches and/or abrasions) consistent with age of item; 4.) Fair - Shows considerable wear (many scratches or abrasions) and/or chips and/or cloudiness; 5.) Poor- Considerable wear and/or minor to severe damage
