    Allophane

    2" x 1.25" x 1.25"
    This is a piece of blue allophane.  Normally this material is slightly unstable but this piece is very stable for this mineral.  You dont want to let allophane get wet, sometimes it will decompose if so.   These are fairly hard to come by from this location, its a tough spot to get to. Called the Graphic Mine in New Mexico.
