Awesome LW/UV Fluorite crystals from the new find at Mandrosonoro, Madagascar 06

Fluorite and Quartz
Now this is a very interesting specimen under natural and Longwave ultraviolet (LW/UV) light. Beautiful fluorescent blue Fluorite is spectacular under LW/UV. Fluorite is present in several natural light colors from a clear thru green and a light smoky and can be seen in white light photo. All of it equally fluorescent.
This specimen is from Mandrosonoro, Malaimbandy area, Abatofinandrahana, Amoron'i Mania Region, Fianarantsoa Province, Madagascar.

You must use a
good
quality
LW/UV lamp to see the the brightest color. Responds to SW/UV, but best under LW/UV.  When illuminated with a Convoy S2, specimen is shockingly bright!
This is a
large cabinet size specimen.
Compare natural light photo of specimen on a US one dollar bill for scale.
Specimen FLMR06 is 3.70"x 3.40"x 1.65" and weighs
9.4 ounces.
